Crown Worldwide Group Founder Jim Thompson has accepted a CHT Award on behalf of Crown Malaysia. The award for Assignment Management Services and Relocations was presented at a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on January 27, 2018.
“To receive such a recognition by CHT Network is an honor,” said Jim. “It shines a spotlight on the many achievements of Crown Malaysia over the past 44 years. I am thrilled to represent Crown Malaysia and I am excited to share this honor with the team.”
The CHT Awards are organized by the CHTNetwork, a networking platform for businesses in Malaysia. The award, a pewter eagle, symbolizes the soaring quest to attain greater heights; a reflection of CHT Network’s dedication to recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations.
CHT Network Founder Ch’ng Huck Theng said: “Since our first edition, CHT Awards has been about showing that aiming for growth and success can be hard work and sweat, but enjoying and celebrating the sweet fruit of success with likeminded people from the industry and making a positive change is all worthwhile.”
The ceremony at the Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel included performances by Singapore’s award-winning instrumentalist The Teng Company and singer Hendrik Wijaya as well as a fashion show by Australian designers Emily Ward and Serena Lindeman. A charity auction was also held at the function, featuring jewelry, art and antique porcelain.
Other companies recognized at the event included: Corum, Thai Airways, Lexis Hotel Group, Penang Medical College, RHB Premier Bank, Tourism Australia and Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur.
