Crown Worldwide Group CFO Warren Elsworth joins Executive Board

Crown Worldwide Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Group CFO Warren Elsworth to the Executive Board.

With extensive experience in international financial leadership and logistics, Warren will play a vital role in guiding the privately-owned company’s strategic direction and growth.

He joins Jennifer Harvey, Group CEO, Tze Shen Kong, Asia CEO, and Barry Koolen, EMEA CEO on the board, having been appointed to the role of Group CFO last year.

This year marks a significant milestone for Crown as it celebrates 60 years in business. The company has diversified from a small removals business in Japan in 1965 to become a global logistics specialist with seven brands and offices in 45 locations around the world.

It now plays an important role in helping organizations all over the world to manage their corporate assets; moving, storing and managing information, workplace furniture and equipment, and fine art – in addition to helping to move talent and families all over the world.

Welcoming Warren to the Board, Group CEO and Executive Board member Jennifer Harvey, said: “I am delighted to welcome Warren to the Board, to which he brings fresh perspectives, a collaborative approach, and valuable experience.

“As Crown enters its seventh decade, Warren is helping us elevate our approach to performance management and productivity. In addition to helping us develop a world-class finance team, his passion for leveraging technology and clearer communication aligns with our purpose of making it simpler to live, work and do business anywhere in the world. These strengths will help Crown deliver on its strategies.”

Originally from South Africa, Warren began his career at RSM Betty & Dickson Chartered Accountants before expanding his professional journey across Hong Kong and Australia. With a strong background in specialized logistics, Warren has spent the majority of his working life in this sector. He has held both global and regional CFO roles across the APAC region, including serving as SVP & CFO at global logistics and supply chain management company UTi Worldwide, prior to its acquisition by DSV.

Warren joined the Crown network in 2017, stepping into a leadership role at Grace Group, Crown’s sister company in Australia, where he continues to contribute today.

Like Grace Group, Crown is broadening its business mix and developing a growing and valuable property portfolio. Warren’s extensive experience in building resilient financial organizations, coupled with his deep expertise in logistics and diversification, will be pivotal as the group advances through its next phase of growth and innovation.

Warren remarked, “It is an honor to join Crown’s Executive Board. We’ve made great progress in strengthening Crown over the past few years, and I am excited to continue our focus on achieving our goals for 2025 and beyond.”
